I agree, Plant had nothing to do with this deal. It was a Godnelo and Haymon deal.

Hayonmites have been going on and on how Haymon is going to bring Godnelo on over to PBC. But Fact is Haymon wasnt dealing with some scrub, he was dealing with Godnelo. He thought he could sway him with a 40 mill purse and prolly some other bullshht that we will never see in the contract.

Fact is, getting Godnelo on your squad means giving him everything he wants to show him that they will be about him. That bullshht they tried to pull in the beginning wasnt going to work, and that painted Haymon into a corner to make him do right by Godnelo if he ever wants him on his team and make this fight happen.

Was there ever any doubt that this fight was happening? Both guys wanted it. Shout out to the clowns who kept saying plant was scared and would price himself out, only to find out that the fight didn’t happen in September because canelo was the one who priced himself out. And another shout out to the goofballs who actually thought canelo was actually entertaining a fight with bivol. Once bivol said he was good to go, it suddenly became obvious that he was only being used for leverage with pbc which backfired immediately.

I am sure Plant was holding out for more money, since he has what Canelo wants and without it Canelo could never call himself undisputed….he held out for the maximum amount possible, knowing he is probably going to lose this fight …so good for him, his retirement fund!
