Comments Thread For: Pacquiao: As Long As I'm In Boxing, I'm Willing To Fight Terence Crawford, Errol Spence, The Best

LAS VEGAS - Manny Pacquiao acknowledged Wednesday that he isn't sure if this will be the last fight of his celebrated career. A victory over Yordenis Ugas on Saturday night likely will encourage the 42-year-old Pacquiao to keep boxing. If the favored Filipino southpaw indeed defeats Ugas in their fight for the Cuban champion's WBA "super" welterweight title and remains an active boxer, Pacquiao would want to continue testing himself against elite opponents in the 147-pound division.

“The greatest victory is the De La Hoya fight,” Pacquiao said before reiterating his willingness to face Crawford and/or Spence. “You know why? Because I came from 135 to 147. -Manny Pacquiao

De La Hoya was a Super Welterweight trying to make 147 at age 35! No bueno!

We can all acknowledge that pac is a warrior willing to take on tough challenges. At the same time, we can also acknowledge that he clearly has very little desire to face Crawford and Crawford is probably the last top welterweight he’d want to face. There’s video of Roach saying he doesn’t like that fight for pac and then pacs ridiculous 40 mil guarantee request is all the proof we need. Especially when his guarantee to face Spence was only going to be 5 mil.

He scurred of what exactly? Did he not just sign up for Errol Spence till Spence dropped out or did he not agree to fight Crawford before Arum and his investors dropped the ball on that. Come on, use your head. He is a throwback who has proved he will fight anybody

Let’s be honest, Crawford is not signing up to fight Pacquiao. His priority is to fight the best of the rest and he justifies it to the public by saying he won’t take X amount of money to fight Pacquiao. Kudos to Crawford as he is smart enough to maintain his current level of guaranteed income with no threat to future earnings.

Crawford is too dangerous for Pacman at his age, Roach was totally against that fight taking place. Even Arum stated PAC didn't want the fight unless he feels beating CRAWFORD at 37 is a easier task than at 32 when it was scheduled

Manny is a legend that has done enough at 42 and I don't want to see him fight either Spence or Crawford.

I personally witnessed Ray Lenard vs Hector Camacho in a fight far past Ray's prime...it was depressing.
