Is Luis Ortiz asking for too much money...

...main reason why he's not getting fights?

He's all pumped up in his last fight at the end of last year
at Fox and appears ready to fight three times this year.

It's almost a year since his fight with a cab driver.

    What the heck happened?

He’s not asking for anything that’s why he’s not fighting anyone . In general give some examples ? I know he’s dumb as rocks but he’s not getting fights because he sits on high rankings I’m assuming he buys ?

There are a few possible reasons:
      1) Nobody wants to fight him 2) He is pricing himself out
      3) He is waiting for a big money fight
      4) PBC doesn't want him to fight, be exposed and thus expose Wilder

I don't think it's #1, he's vulnerable at his age and fighters would love his name on their resume. I don't think it's #4 since Wilder has fought Fury twice. My guess is it's #3 and/or #2.

Say he fights Ruiz, Whyte or even Wallin and loses. Any big money fight is gone as is that ranking. I'm sure at his age, training camps are hard and how many does he have left in him? One? Maybe two?

All those you listed are not far from real possibilities.
He's not young and things are going against him.
Two more years and he'll just become an exhibition fighter
for probably even less than a quarter of what he made in the Wilder 1 fight.

Well we know for a fact they did it with AJ and previously to that Whyte accused him of turning down a few million.

only the dimmest of the dim believe everybody ducks him.

Time for Ortiz to get rid of his current management team.
That is if he wants to be active in his remaining years in the sport.

When Sanchez beats Ajagba, he will be the next Cuban in line for big fights.

If I recall correctly, they turned down the AJ fight without him being aware they turned it down. At least that was something that was claimed.

You have Sanchez winning? I do as well even though I'm pulling for Efe. What's your thought on the Cuban Flash?

Sanchez frustrates and underwhelms me. I think he's skilled and physically talented but he falls into doing just enough to win for long stretches of his fights even tho he's fighting far inferior competition. He's gotta watch that because he can get complacent and might get caught.

I'm not a fan, just something about his attitude that I'm not keen on.
