I wish Figs could box. The belts aren't worth anything near good head movement.

Davis would drop all their belts in the toilet in a heartbeat, IMO. He'd definitely drop their 130 belt as well for Colbert or someone else to fight for. Hopefully he never pursues any other belts. All these crooked trinkets are meaningless. Some of the big names don't need belts. I'd take Davis-Loma over any other fight with belts on the line. No true boxing fan would even ask: What belts do they hold? Or Davis-Lopez, without the belts.

This is what came to my mind first. This belt organizations are as much at fault for the state of boxing as much as the promoters

I'd pay $80 for Boots vs. Vergil right now! That's better than Pacquiao vs. Ugas, Canelo vs. Plant, and Crawford vs. Porter!

The bold: Well said, man. Fights are also about chemistry, not just belts.
All the other fights you mentioned have no chemistry or a wow factor for me.

Yep.. Screw the belts. Even fights that don't need belts are blocked by promoters.
I know it's hard to be a boxing fan these days, but I'm in it for the long haul.

                    Figueroa is a legit champ.
Titles or not that guy is an absolute phenomenon. Rarely if ever seen a guy use his offense for defense THAT well. Belts or not he is going very far.
the WBA is finally bending to the will of the public (and other sanctioning bodies), so let's call this a small victory, albeit taking a belt from one of the good guys of the division.

Real Talk! I'm more interested in Fulton vs. Figueroa than Canelo vs. Plant!
