    Lots to unpack here...

I'm not sure Haymon cares as much about the Porter vs Crawford numbers as he does an in-house Thurman vs Porter rematch, obviously Thurman vs Porter is a better deal for the PBC. On the other hand, If the PBC ever wanted to pick up Crawford the door is open right here and now. Also a possibility is that the PBC may not actually want Crawford in house chewing threw their lucrative welterweight stable. As if that weren't enough, Shawn Porter has an independent streak and I suspect that he'll wait for the numbers and then make up his mind independently, solely based upon his personal long term financial goals. Lastly, all Terrance can do is watch this unfold knowing that he is basically stuck with the outcome.

A lot of variables, too many to digest. All I can do is HOPE it works out because I still believe Errol Spence and Shawn Porter are the only welterweights with the style and tenacity to press Terrance to his absolute limit.

I've always knew that it was headed in this direction. Al Haymon detests co-promotions. He likes to keep everything in house. He is going to outbid everyone in order to secure this promotion for himself. It's now official. Terence Crawford has officially left Top Rank and is signing with the PBC. Well good for him. What the Hell took him so long? Now he is about to become the star that he should have always been.

I am absolutely one hundred thousand percent sure that The PBC wants it but I am not too sure that Top Rank does. They are not going over price themselves to get it either. They have been cutting back on their budget for several years now.

Given all of the cancellations of big fights we have witnessed in 2021; I can't blame anyone feeling that way.

This was an obvious conclusions considering we’re dealing with PBC. Wouldn’t be surprised If Porter pulls out if bidding doesn’t go in Haymon’s favor. Also look out for more than one Haymon representative bidding. Drama always follows the man.

I don't believe DAZN would bid on this fight. They didn't bid on the Canelo/Plant fight either. They are willing to spring Canelo loose in order for him to go and fight on another platform. It has become so apparently obvious that Canelo has run out his welcome over at DAZN. They want to get rid of his Diva ass as soon as possible. He is no longer under contract with them anyhow. Thanks a lot Canelo for burning your bridges.

Agreed. Porter has an image of fighting anyone, so would be a big fall from grace

No excuses at all for Crawford vacating the title either. Should be blasted for the rest of his career if he does

                    Possibly

this is a great fight for the fans. But I don’t think it’s a huge fight though. Spence/Porter wasn’t a blockbuster event, and I don’t think Crawford is a huge star. Perhaps Arum is smart not to invest so much into it… as both will demand big purses

I assume Arum offered Porter $100k and some Target gift certificates that he turned down.
