That is my point about Haney leaving- fans and fighters can’t change the era were in, only the promoters and networks.

Until that change happens, Haney remains a high risk, low reward guy whose attributes make him a tough fight for all the top LW’s.

That is why Loma dropped the belt, Ryan refused the mando, and Tank never mentions him. I expect Teo to run through all the TR LW’s and then move up to fight TR JWW’s.

    Where does Haney realistically go?
I totally agree with you. But it's spoiling the sport. Haney has no real in-house options. So he should just be forced into leaving? Maybe he should take to division hopping for cherry picks which seems to be a trend elsewhere. It pisses me off because I'm a Josh Taylor fan and he wants to face Crawford after Catteral. And if he wins ( big if ) should he then leave and go to PBC? The politics suck man.

Not forced. He and his team need to assess the landscape and make a choice.

I think Taylor will end up against Teo. More winnable than Crawford. And likely a home fight since he is defending the title rather than a road fight for Crawford’s wbo belt.

Besides, Crawford fights Josh and he’s get skewered even more than he regularly does for a weak ww resume.

Not forced but it might as well be, you get my point. Taylor won't fight Teo. He's repeatedly stated that he wants to go to welter to be a 2 weight champ. It's a much bigger fight for him, particularly in Scotland. There's more chance of of Crawford coming to Scotland than Teo. But I agree, if I'm Crawford do I want Taylor? There's a risk/reward factor there also. As much as he's the favourite its a dangerous fight. And if he wins he gets little credit in the US. Teo fight becomes bigger if he becomes undisputed but only Teo gets to gain. For Josh it's just a title defence. And Teo is full of **** about leaving America.

If you just sit on your hands nothing is ever going to change.

Spending energy trying to make things how they should be is never a waste.

As paying fans and viewership eyeballs we are part of the profit equation for this business. And we have every right to be heard.

So we should make some noise every chance we get. With our pocketbook or through forums and social media.

I agree with the pocketbook. I don’t regarding social media.

My larger point is Hearn is just using the media imo. I’d take him seriously if he was making ggg/Andrade and other in house fights he could.

If anything , I’d put the energy into getting rid of network exclusive deals for fighter and promoters.

135 division is full of talent but it is ZERO urgency to fight each other

Guys acting like Male Divas before even truly becoming Superstars and they're ALL guilty of it! Haney is being avoided though because stylistically he is a tough fight. Yeah he got clipped vs Linares but before that it was a damn One Sided Boxing Clinic

Anything you sign with Eddy has to be in blood. Rematch, options, non disclosure clauses. If his fighter gets beat, Eddy gets a piece of the winner. Eddy doesn't plan to lose, even if his boy does.

There's nothing to reach out for.

Why does this egg head always talk nonsense?

Haney is already in motion to fight Jojo. They've been going back and forth aggressively. So why even bring up Tank's name to distract?

Haney should be fighting Joseph Diaz Jr. soon. That's what is on that man's plate. Make that fight happen since they've been trash talking each other super disrespectfully.

I feel sorry for Haney in a way, none of them would ever reach out to fight him, and none of them would even entertain offers especially Team Tank, you have Garcia and JoJo Diaz fighting each other in one of those interim fights, when there is a direct route to actually fight for the title. But they would rather make excuses about how he doesn’t “sell” etc.

Not sure what Hearn is smoking here but when is he going to give up on PBC boxers?
