This state of affairs completely sucks for boxing fans.

That's why I push for us to make ourselves heard by being selective about what tickets, PPVs, and subscriptions we buy. As well as by being vocal against promoter/fighter/alphabet group shenanigans.
^^^This right here! They say boxing is a business, that's right, it IS a business. But a business makes its money by selling product(s) that people want and are willing to pay for. If promoters feel they can get away with selling shit fights and still get top dollar, they'll do it. But if fans stop paying to see what they really don't want to see, maybe things will change.

I don’t think he does make big fights. Where is the ggg/Andrade in house MW unification?

I think Hearn is using the media regarding Haney. He has in house LW’s to make fights with.
Remember how he positioned bum Campbell for many championship opportunities, but can't find crap for his Black fighters. Why didn't he make Fury-Joshua?

Agree this wouldn’t happen in the network exclusive deals and network/ promoter partnership era we are in.

That is my point about Haney leaving- fans and fighters can’t change the era were in, only the promoters and networks.

Until that change happens, Haney remains a high risk, low reward guy whose attributes make him a tough fight for all the top LW’s.

That is why Loma dropped the belt, Ryan refused the mando, and Tank never mentions him. I expect Teo to run through all the TR LW’s and then move up to fight TR JWW’s.

        Where does Haney realistically go?

Maybe Hearn made a bad signing business wise?

He either needs to find a way to change Haney Al’s Floyd from Pretty Boy to Money May, or he needs to offer up Burns, Campbell and Farmer.

Hearns hands are not Haney’s. He probably needs to leave Hearn.
He probably does need to leave much as Crawford needs to leave Arum, but it's a disgrace. When you reach the top level those fighters should be available to fight all-comers and that's not the way of the sport now due to greedy promoters protecting assets. Hearn at least is a boxing man that wants the best fights. Don't get me wrong the buisness has to be right for him too but at least he's trying. The rest just aren't.

He couldn’t make fury-aj because of the contract fury had with Wilder.

Guys don’t mind fighting Campbell because he isn’t a threat. Haney imo is more of a threat.

No, it’s mmmm to shouldn’t be like this but it is what it is. Hearn makes fights when its convenient. He also uses the media to complain ( see charlo/ Andrade) rather than make in house fights he can.

Hearn imo had some big names but doesn’t have the opponents. At hwt you can work around that easier.

At the lower weights it’s a bit more difficult.

Not true until the end when the court ruling was basically due. He was lying about everything else before that, including the ME thing.

Farmer, Campbell and Burns are the only names I know best 135.

I always believed the arbitration would be won by Wilder. So I thought it was best trying to win the media battle.
