Bud will have more credibility if he beats the proven WW in Porter. If he fights Virgil and win they will say that he was too green, exposed, was not good to begin with, etc...

Porter for me.

Vergil will be a top boxer in the sport in a few years. Right now, I think he doesn't have enough tools to deal with an experienced, top tier p4p boxer like Crawford. If they fought now, I'd expect a Charlo v Lubin type outcome, not a Teo v Loma outcome.

Porter would be good to gauge Crawford against other PBC fighter (triangle theory withstanding) but really all the fight will be is the Bull vs the Matador I'd rather some Crawford vs a more technical skilled fighter than an american footballer
