Terence Crawford vs Vergil Ortiz Will End Via Decapitation. Whoever Has a Glass Jaw will Fall First

Vergil is at the stage of his career where he's not only at his hungriest but is also determined to win as sensational as he can. He intends to stretch his 18-0-18 KOs streak. He could be the new Edwin Valero of this generation. At 23 years old his defense is still improving, but comparing to his contemporaries he's flat out in advanced stage already.

Terence Crawford is still looking for any opponent that's acceptable to the public. I heard Porter is in talks because he's back as the new mandatory. But then again, that may not push through for the same promotional reasons. This is where Vergil Ortiz can sneak through. Crawford vs Vergil may happen if the public will aggressively ask for it. They already have a backstory because they share the same opponent in Kavaluaskas where both of their victories against him are impressive and then you add to that, that Vergil have been calling for a fight against Terence for years and it makes Vergil a perfectly acceptable fight for Bud in the eyes of the fans.

    Lol this isn’t a 50-50 fight.

Crawford’s hands are way too fast for Ortiz and he hits just as hard.

Ortiz is made for Crawford and is way too young to deal with him.

If Ortiz has fought Crawford last night, he would not have made it out of the second round.

How many Crawford fights have you seen Shane Mosely Sr.? Crawford is noted for being a slow starter and his fights always look close for at least 3 or 4 rounds.....he would not be taking out Ortiz in 2 rounds. Until Crawford fights someone who is a real threat I call Bud vs. Ortiz a 50/50 fight. Let's hope the Porter fight happens and then we will see.

Mean Machine, who dropped Crawford, said Ortiz has a better jab, more power and more speed than Crawford.

Would love to see Ortiz Pacquiao if Spence never comes back from that injury.

Both men react similarly to getting tagged. I could see this fight being the 2020s version of Hagler/Hearns.

don’t freak on me here, I’m not comparing the individuals, just the circumstances

It's too early for Ortiz right now, Crawford is a whole other ball game. Ortiz should be fighting guys luke Boots Ennis, Rashidi Ellis or that flashy kid with the fro from GBP's stable.

Personally, I just see Crawford dissecting and dominating Ortiz. I think it’s a good style for Crawford and he does a real number on him if they fight next. Ortiz definitely needs more seasoning.
