He said Pacquiao chose not to follow his strength and conditioning regimen and lost two of his last four fights which included a highly controversial decision to Timothy Bradley and a crushing 6th round knockout to Juan Manuel Marquez.

That was legit one of Mannys many excuses that he had to be trained over the telephone
so going by your logic, pac choose not to take ariza's peds/shakes in those fights he loss?

is it a surprise that ariza would only take credit for the fights that manny won and looked good in? smh...

ariza was with manny in the PI!!!

?Fighter of the Decade? Manny Pacquiao?s strength and conditioning coach Alex Ariza believes that his decision to delay his departure for the Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles and to continue training in his hometown of General Santos City with Filipino trainer Restituto ?Buboy? Fernandez is not bad.

Ariza who was in the Philippines for seventeen days said ?I am a firm believer in a shorter more intense camp than a long camp. I think it?s a good thing that he can work at his own pace and develop as you go and then when you get closer to the fight you pick up the intensity for a shorter amount of time.?

After Rios failed his drug test, Robert Garcia stopped working with him and that was pretty much it.

Floyd brought him in as a pawn to play mind games with Freddy Roach/Pacquiao. Said all Ariza did was stretch him before training.

I think Ariza worked with a few MMA fighters after that, didn't he? I think I saw him on one of those UFC prefight promos doing strength and condition for an MMA guy. Can't remember who.

He wasn't training Manny for those fights. Him and Roach never got on and by Roaches own admission he claimed he was shady and would give Manny a 'secret formula' hence the term Ariza shakes. Manny continued to hire him as he was a friend, kept him hanging around as it would have looked even more bait to sack him instantly. Kept him around then sacked him and he went to train at RGs gym and trained Brandon Rios to fight Manny and who by no coincidence p*ssed hot.

Ariza himself has stated numerous times he didn't do s&c with him even said it in the lead upto the fight and claimed he was worried because Marquez had hired Memo.
