Manny's 3 fight contract with PBC ends with this fight so that is not a sure thing. He might also retire to run for President of the Philippines next year.

Regardless, Crawford like Pac will also be free of Top Rank this October so it is quite possible a bidding war will ensue on who Pacquiao fights next, Spence or Crawford.

Any promoter including PBC, Top Rank, Matchroom or Golden Boy will be free to entice both free agent fighters Crawford and Pac with big money offers in a bidding war while PBC will have to increase their offer to Pac to convince him to fight Spence next instead of Crawford assuming Spence is recovered from his eye surgery.

Ugas expected Porter to pressure and got thrown off when he came to box. Porter took advantage of Ugas slow legs and lack of pressure. Ugas waited too long in spots. I had Porter winning a close fight. I have seen the fight a few times because of comments like yours and still have Porter winning.

Ugas is legit top 10 guy, but it will be an easy win for Pac.

You're right, we don't know what the future holds, but Haymon is still loving the present! Manny is a draw no matter who he fights, and Haymon is making money no matter what!

Obviously Ugas is no Spence, but at this stage in Manny's career I think this is an ok fight. It's a pretty solid WW match up IMO.

The WBA is a Hispanic strong sanctioning body. It has absolutely nothing at all to do with your boogeyman Haymon. Do you think when you bloviate from the gums?
The WBA has been in Haymon's pockets over the years handing out regular titles to his favorites. LSC has had his FW title almost about the same amount of time as Pac had his and hasn't defended it all nor been stripped like he should be, yet Pac somehow ends up stripped and fighting the guy they gave his belt to on short notice. Davis has only been collecting regular titles, Broner's 140 regular title was against a nobody, etc. Canelo making all the haters look silly for asking for a guarantee in case of an injury to Plant bc his team clearly saw some funny business with PBC. Then they burn Pac with the same scenario that Canelo had predetermined could happen to him. Hard to see that as a coincidence. But you feel how you feel though.
