I don't see any benefit in Pac staying in the PI.

I know Pac thrives on the pressure, but seems like PI gets a little too crazy to have nice controlled workouts with all the groupies and hangers on.

While Freddie Roach is bitching about training over there and saying Pac will be distracted, Freddie Roach will be 100% dedicated to Pac. He wont be mingling with all of his Hollywood stars and he certainly wont be able to train all of his other fighters. This way Pac has ALL of Freddie's attention.

Good move by Pac to keep Freddie in check, after all Pac is HIS boss.

I agree, Pac should not be treated as their dog. And if Pacquiao can possibly be kidnapped in Mexico, then let him be kidnapped by his countrymen instead.

Yeah but then he'll be mingling with the Filipino stars and the politicians and all that stuff. He probably won't be able to close off camp so lots of people will be watching him train and he'll get distracted by that. Roach normally closes off the Wild Card for a few hours when Pacquiao is training anyways to give Pacquiao all his attention so I don't see how the Philippines helps there.

FYI, everytime Pac trained in the Philippines, he looked like crap (see fights against Solis & MAB 2)
