and even if he didn't and Philippines allows Roach to dedicate all his focus on PAC, the main concern here is PAC's own focus...they might have good sessions but once training is done, PAC wont be limited to just going to his favorite Thai restaurant next to WCG and then going home to his apartment


he's in Philippines...after training, he could take off and shoot pool, commercials, bet on roosters, etc til the wee hours in the morning...

FYI, everytime Pac trained in the Philippines, he looked like crap (see fights against Solis & MAB 2)

I believe he trained in the US for those fights but his camps were open to the public, after the second Barrera fight Roach closed off the Wild Card when Pacquiao trains.

For the 2nd Barrera fight..........didn't Pac made Roach come to P.I. to get back at him for training DLH in Puerto Rico? And how Roach wanted Manny to sign with Oscar's promotion company. Pac and Roach almost had a falling out, it's a good thing Roach made up by going to P.I.

I really don't remember. Sounds like something that might have happened but I don't remember clearly if it did.

roach had to fly to the p.i. though to kiss ass.

manny was being a ***** about that since the solis fight.

manny had to train with other trainers part time for that fight because of roach training oscar too.

the pac-solis fight and delahoya-pbf fight was within a month of each other.

While Freddie Roach is bitching about training over there and saying Pac will be distracted, Freddie Roach will be 100% dedicated to Pac. He wont be mingling with all of his Hollywood stars and he certainly wont be able to train all of his other fighters. This way Pac has ALL of Freddie's attention.

Good move by Pac to keep Freddie in check, after all Pac is HIS boss.

I agree, Pac should not be treated as their dog. And if Pacquiao can possibly be kidnapped in Mexico, then let him be kidnapped by his countrymen instead.

Why doesn't Pac just train in Canada?
