I didn’t think you could support that accusation with any factual evidence.

Tried to push through, but Spence didn't look too good in training so they pulled the plug. Ugas was always their plan B.

They promised Spence the Ugas-Manny winner so now they have 2 big ww fights instead of 1.

Spence gets a breather, Ugas gets a career defining fight, Manny still gets paid, PBC gets 2 big fights no matter what

      Everybody wins. Except the fans.
Good post. See I just don’t think Manny v Ugas is a big fight.

People, including me, were excited at the prospect of Spence/ Manny because of what it meant for both boxers, the sport, and what it could lead to- a u unified ww champ.

Now it just feels so disappointing because if Manny loses badly, a Spence/Ugas fight doesn’t move the needle for boxing fans nearly as much.

it seemed so easy- Spence/Manny winner v Porter/ Crawford winner.

        Spence.

If he had gone into the fight not knowing he had that injury, it could have ended his career and eyesight.

GrandPac got lucky... But Ugas would still destroy him...

Pacquiao had little to lose and everything to gain. A loss to Spence would not have hurt his legacy. A win only enhances it. Spence had more to lose in both legacy and eyesight.

Spence because he was unknowingly risking his eye sight.

                before I answer the question....
As much as I want the OG to beat Spence, I believe a healthy Errol will win.

Now to answer your question......I believe Spence dodged a bullet because had it not been for doctors finding a tear in his retina, Pac definitely wouldve detached that **** and won by tko.
