It's possible a person could be infected just before or just after vaccination and still get sick. It usually takes about 2 weeks for the body to build protection after vaccination, so a person could get sick if the vaccine has not had enough time to provide protection. That said, David is an undisciplined disaster that had months and hundreds of opportunities to prepare and did nothing.
what a load of garbage
FACT: the vaccine does not work, period !!
and btw, the following quotes were made WELL-BEFORE they invented that Delta Variant bullshlt... so don't try that garbage either
That's their job, to tend to the sick. No one should feel sorry for the staff to a large extent. Nor should those staff judge anyone who is in there who made the decision not to get the vaccine. Trusting those parties pushing the vaccine is a bridge (much) too far for me, and is it for many other people as well.
Now if I were older and in worse health, I may have gotten it. But other people are free to make their own decisions. If I were in poor health and got covid, and had serious issues from it, I would be more upset with myself that I let my body be in such a condition that I was having those issues. Trying to take a vaccine to cover up for poor health choices seems a bit like a bandaid on a bullet hole.
There are pros for taking this vaccine, and cons. Hospital staff have tough jobs sometimes, but they get paid very well and have great job security, especially in a time like this. I sure as sh.it don't feel bad for them nor do I take any condescending attitude from them well, complaining that their sick patients may have wanted to do something different to not be there. Every patient in the world that is on their death bed for any reason could make similar comments.
Please don't bring that BS again, that was nauseating to read. You are entitled to your own opinion about the vaccine, as I said there are pros and cons, and depending on your condition, you can make an argument right now, for or against.
But don't give that BS about hospital staff, that is their job man.
one report quoted a particular hospital and said only 45% of the staff were vaccinated
that tells us something
there have also been protests/strikes by medical personnel who objected to the vaccine being mandatory
oh, good post btw... good points there

A Trump remark? Cute! I am not a vaccine guy and at 56 never recieved a flu shot but I did get both doses of the Pfizer vaccine. COVID is real, was released from a lab but has also been politicized like everything else in this counrty.
I also believe it was released from Wuhan lab but nonetheless it is real.

Good post! I have gotten the vaccine only because i knew how **** was going to turn out. Not getting the vaccine is like the scarlet letter. Is it right? Of course not but the same idiots who put these clowns in office are the same one's complaining.
A lot of you don’t understand “infection.” We get infected with bacteria and virus every day with common contagion.
the point is to alleviate the symptoms not getting severe. The body likes to isolate infections. When common respiratory viruses invade the lungs, coughing becomes a gamble as your spreading the cells and viruses doing there work, essentially transporting fights here and there. This is normal. The less of coughing the better. As you all know, viruses can travel through different paths, infecting the throat, mouth, nasal, sinus, etc… this is where various types of conditions can become chronic to disease etc…
the PCR positives are only positive at a threshold. Ask yourself, is the PCR test exclusive to covid-19? If it is, then anybody who is negative can be infected…
if you’re 0.01 - 1.1 you’re negative. If it is 1.2 and above you’re positive.
Therefore anybody who is 0.01 - 1.1 is INFECTED! That’s if you believe a PCR test is exclusive to covid-19.
To conclude, the vaccine doesn’t say it guarantee you won’t die if you’re infected be it negative or positive. That’s simply because nothing is guaranteed with such a new virus. Anyways, but, when they say it is 99% effective in not getting severe symptoms (having already been tested on many), then surely you must have some optimism. They could’ve said any number from 70-98%.
Just take the vaccine. Some of all y’all need to stop being wussies
