That’s what happens when you have a country full of obese people and morons who don’t research for themselves. These pharma doctors don’t offer healthcare nor do they give a flying f*** about their patients’ wellbeing. Holistic doctors are scoffed at here in the US, which is a damn shame.
So damned many western doctors are - I'm sorry to say, drug pushers. Holistic doctors to me are underappreciated. There are so many natural alternatives to diabetes but some doctors refuse to acknowledge powerful natural solutions in favor of making more money for the drug industry. Even some great alternatives to help prevent Covid.Comment

It's possible a person could be infected just before or just after vaccination and still get sick. It usually takes about 2 weeks for the body to build protection after vaccination, so a person could get sick if the vaccine has not had enough time to provide protection. That said, David is an undisciplined disaster that had months and hundreds of opportunities to prepare and did nothing.

That's their job, to tend to the sick. No one should feel sorry for the staff to a large extent. Nor should those staff judge anyone who is in there who made the decision not to get the vaccine. Trusting those parties pushing the vaccine is a bridge (much) too far for me, and it is for many other people as well.
Now if I were older and in worse health, I may have gotten it. But other people are free to make their own decisions. If I were in poor health and got covid, and had serious issues from it, I would be more upset with myself that I let my body be in such a condition that I was having those issues. Trying to take a vaccine to cover up for poor health choices seems a bit like a bandaid on a bullet hole.
There are pros for taking this vaccine, and cons. Hospital staff have tough jobs sometimes, but they get paid very well and have great job security, especially in a time like this. I sure as sh.it don't feel bad for them nor do I take any condescending attitude from them well, complaining that their sick patients may have wanted to do something different to not be there. Every patient in the world that is on their death bed for any reason could make similar comments.
Please don't bring that BS again, that was nauseating to read. You are entitled to your own opinion about the vaccine, as I said there are pros and cons, and depending on your condition, you can make an argument right now, for or against.
But don't give that BS about hospital staff, that is their job man.Last edited by Boxing-1013; 08-12-2021, 11:53 AM.Comment

Fact! And that is why we need to learn to live with it. There is no herd immunity goal anymore unless everyone in the world is vaccinated and that's not happening.
So this cancelling of events just on a positive test is not OK if a boxer is asymptomatic or still able to train. If his trainer and sparring partners are vaccinated or not they can make a decision whether they want to carry on or not - my point is that AUTOMATIC cancellation doesn't qualify as 'learning to live with the disease'.Comment

mate, you need to understand that being vaccinated doesn't stop you testing positive - or even die for that matter (know of someone who had both shots and died - but he had had a heart attack before)This clown just cant get out of his own way. First its drug use, missing weight and now Covid. Why would you even want to go into a contact sport (both the actual event or multiple training) without vaccination? It behooves me what the likes of Teofimo, Fury and now this guy are doing with their careers creating unnecessary inactivity. Take the damn vaccine and be responsible. Most people not taking the vaccine don't even have a legitimate reason beyond what they 've heard but they will gladly hit up Mcdonalds everyday to munch on those processed burgers. SmhComment

Too true. Just test every day. If everything is going ok and you test positive just keep it quiet. Roid cycle messed up or not making weight or looking **** in sparring or just felling off - just tell the world that you're positive.Comment
