Arum is jumping the gun on Berlanga. Let's see him against stepped up competition before a Canelo bout is mentioned!

This is called promoting. Robert Arum knows how to do that very well. Berlanga had his brain shook sparring with head gear against Lubin. no way in life does this hype job gets in the ring with clenelo

Berlanga has a ways to go before he can be mentioned as an opponent for Canelo. Kid has displayed power against a certain level of fighter, it will be impressive if that power continues to show up as he progresses.

Big ****ers usually falter at a certain level; that power is a blessing and a curse. When you're sparking people out, it's hard to develop other aspects of your game both physical and mental.

I would like to see Berlanga fight a credible opponent that is a former Champion or Champion before fighting Canelo. Or else I doubt Canelo would get as much credit.

Im not convinced with Berlanga. He's whack! I think he's been carefully matched and protected. He's like a heavier Rolly Romero. PR needs somebody to fill that void since Cotto retired and Verdejo is ****ed! Xander Zayas is on his way tho.

These next 2 fights by the end of the year should tell us a lot about how good Berlanga currently is and how good he can be . Guy's power is real deff has talent but still crude to be expected considering he just finally went past the 1st round in his last fight . Let's see if he actually took any lessons from his last fight and learned from it . Hopefully he gets a Roamer Alexis Angulo-Caleb Truax those two would be perfect measuring sticks then December go up against Steven Nelson in a all New York showdown
