It's possible cos boxing is just a messed up sport, but I wouldn't single Haymon out as being in some way worse than other promoters at pulling bullchit moves. That said as a matter of course my default is to assume coincidence until or unless actual evidence comes to light.

The world is full of coincidences and random happenings and it's very much human nature to try to ascribe reasons and pattern to everything which is why we love conspiracies so much.

Boxing is an incredibly dirty business filled with plenty of scandal however I typically give the benefit of the doubt unless given adequate reason.

The more people involved in a conspiracy, the more likely it is to be exposed. Additionally, the more complicated a scheme the less likely it will work. There would have to be alot of individuals involved in this to pull it off (doctors, promoters, advisors, fighters, attorneys, probably representatives for casinos, insurance agencies, etc).

PBC stands to lose alot of money from the injury and for those that think they will recoup it with a fight down the line, there's no guarantee that fight will actually happen. Top many variables.

A proper conspiracy is to bribe a couple judges. That's simple and only requires a few moving parts. What were discussing here is more Oceans Eleven complicated kind of heist. I'd like to hear a plausible scenario provided that doesn't involve Operation Overlord levels of planning and moving parts.

because it didn’t occur after a loss, Spence didn’t lie on a pre fight form, it cost Spence a huge payday win or lose, and most of you posted video of him getting hit hard and beat up in sparring, which explains how this happened.

When Manny produces proof for the stitches, then you should ask Spence to produce proof for this.

If you didn’t ask for proof for the stitches, if you are ok with Manny’s word about the shoulder before the fight with no proof, you should be ok with Spence here and take his word.
