Ugas might have been preparing for this fight since day 1.

If Pac really wanted a legacy fight he should have requested/demanded P4P #1 T Crawford..... we've all known for long time, nobody wants the T Crawford action!!

Top Rank couldn’t secure financing for that fight and didn’t pony up any $$$ itself for it. What are both Crawford and Pacquiao supposed to do? Fight for free?? It’s the only reason the Spence fight got made.

I agree with Curtis2 that whatever the dollars Pac is smart enough to see the hard mean streak which sets Bud apart and makes fighting him to be avoided

Wrong. That ship sailed and now Crawford is looking from the outside in. Porter, Ugas, Pac, Thurman, Spence, Garcia all showed up to the dance and each of them has fought at least one of them on that list while Crawford who will be 34 next month stands outside the window looking in and staring at lost opportunities. Blame Arum but also blame Crawford for re-signing the contract with Arum and also blame Crawford for saying he did not need Spence for his legacy which the other 147 pound eras champs never said.....so now the top fighters all fight each other while Crawford ages himself sitting in the bleachers. Crawford may be the most talented fighter at 147 but he has let time pass by.

Pac signed the contract in the middle east and Crawford's team backed out.

Even so, you think Crawford is going to take a fight with 2 weeks notice? Lol. He'd get killed.

I see Ugas winning a close fight but will probably get robbed. This is a huge letdown motivation wise for Pac.

This is a great fight! Don't know why people are hating on it! Ugas is no push over, he's huge and has skills, and gave Porter a hell of a fight (Many had Ugas winning and so did i). Plus, if PAC easily wins, then it will prove that he still has enough to beat Spence. If he loses, then we'll know Spence would have been too much.

If Ugas pulls this off against Pac and Rigo beats Casimero within a week of each other, Cubans will surpass Mexicans as the most hated boxing rival of the Philippines.
