    Spence Appreciation Thread

He had a good career. The detached retina in combination with the accident and brain bleed likely will be the end for him.

Spence will either never be the same or never actually fight again.

Great wins over Kell Brook (after GGG), senior citizen Lamont Peterson, beat down a 135 Mikey Garcia, and edged Shawn MMA Porter

What a career and a true ATG/GOAT (sarcasm although literally half this board was ready to award him that based of sparring stories with Floyd lmfao)

Yet he factually ducked Crawford for YEARS, ducked Thurman for YEARS, and now somehow messes up the Pac fight...his real chance to solidify his claim.

    Oh well

    It's a shame, I agree.

Hopefully it's not over yet but if it is, he'll go down in history as a "might have been great".

Hate to say it but IF SPENCE is TRULY KO'd in retirement...that would be GREAT for the sport.

ALL other young prospects like Teofimo, Tank, RyGa, Devin, Charlo sisters, etc. will all see the MASSIVE LOST INCOME Spence endured by NOT taking fights. These guys might take more challenging fights and NOT RISK LOSING OUT due to injuries like Spence.

Nonetheless Spence is a monster in hypothetical matchups much like Edwin Valero imho

That aint a real injury. Haymon the mastermind with the "doctored" papers. Can't be a coincidence with Fabian Maidana also having an eye injury at the same damn time LOL.

Manny's training videos SPOOKED Spence and Haymon!!! Even Showbizz the Adult was starting to get scared for Spence LMFAO!!!!!

Spence might have future in commentating. Gotta lay off the "retire" opponents angle though...not considered P.C.

The opening showed itself and they took it. Pacquiao was looking to take Spence’s belts and going after Crawford, if he was going to continue his career at all. This way, Haymon pulls a late replacement on Pacquiao in 10 days notice, opposite stance, Sparring ended, and if Pacquiao wins, he’ll be that much older while Spence will be juicing his ass off on the off-season. And hopefully Pacquiao doesn’t look as driven and good in training. If Ugas wins, Haymon has two guys under control for another unification fight he can find a way to *** up.

I’ve said it years ago. Haymon is naturally a coward. He’s scared of losing his control, which is why he’ll never take a risk. Pacquiao has too look as vulnerable as Fury looked that first time. Pac off 2 years was still too scary.

It was floyd fault. Floyd advises spence that if he wants to keep his undefeated record he must be 101% ready for pac and spence think that he can only be 100% ready for pac so he don't want to go for it.

This should be /thread right here. When this fight got announced I said to myself watch Spence get injured and pull out last minute. It's indicative of Haymon's chicken **** games. The mf has zero ethics and has a mediocre business acumen.
