He could still fight if he wants to but he would be putting his career in jeopardy by risking permanent blindness to his left eye. He's taking the advice of his doctor to get the retina surgically repaired and hopefully to resume his boxing career again.

Could be but not all contracts are identical. The difference is Haymon obviously wants this fight as it was made. He doesn't and in my opinion never has wanted Canelo for Plant and he's looking for things to make Canelo not sign so as to make it look like Canelo is the problem. A bit like not letting Wilder anywhere near AJ and trying to make it look like AJ is the problem.

True or not, he would have ended up like Margarito anyway if he fought Pac. Margarito > Spence

Pac would have a field day making that injury a reality if the fight went through.

            Fury vs Wilder
            Helenius vs Kownacki

            POST PONED

            Fury vs AJ CANCELLED

            Spence vs Pacman CANCELLED

This sport sucks and I really hope this isnt a Billy Hoe Saunders type of fake injury.

Also fucc boxing x2 because the replacement SUCKS. UGAS??? REALLY. Get Shawn Porter in there, get Terrence Crawford in there, get Josh Taylor in there.
            Ugas will get pummeled!

If any of those fighters you mentioned were in potential life threatening car accidents then they would.

I don't blame you for not wanting to buy it, but how does fighting Ugas on less than two weeks notice affect Pacquiao's legacy in a negative way? Pac's legacy is already set in stone. Beating a prime undefeated champion in Spence would have definitely been icing on the cake, but if Pacquiao retired today, his legacy would be unaffected. Just my opinion of course.

for the amount Spence was getting, I would get in the ring with Manny and take my knockout. Spence would compete if he was allowed.
