Let's be real here. Spence saw a 42 year old Pacquiao who looks like in his prime. Spence would rather fight the 43 year old version.

Is it the left or right eye? At that first presser, I thought his left eyelid looked droopy and commented on it - was wondering if it was going to turn into a David Reid situation in this fight. The I saw him in pictures and it looked better, so I figured it was the lighting/shade. Wow definitely sucks

Yeah, That's not good to hear. Was looking so forward the contest. Eyes heal the fastest of all body parts. Spence should be up and fighting again soon. Pacquiao will be older still when they do fight. I'll bet Pacquiao is disappointed too. Ugas is a tough guy. I'll still go with Pac to win though.

Dont know too much about Ugas, but the dude has pedigree. Trained by Cuban coaches, one of the best in world and is a bronze medalist. I think Pacquiao is in for a hard night, he does not fair too well with tacticians, his bull rush tactics only works effectively with boxers who have a push forward styles. Not too sure about this, my man in for a fight thats fo sure

I hate being a boxing fan. I truly do. It was just too good to be true.

Give him a pair of shades of let him commentate like Abner Mares does nowadays. Let's face it, Spence hasn't been the same since the accident and they practically hid him like they did Joe ***** before Election season last year. The man just isn't the same. You can see it in his eyes. He knows that accident took years off his career.

If his career is done then so be it. We need real champions...not ones who abuse their bodies between fights and acts as though they're the "big fish" in boxing. Never. You're always one good or bad decision away from a different life and here it is for Spence. So much potential but he's practically on borrowed time at the age of what, 31? What a pity.

The sparring rumors were bigger than we thought....just like when they tried to downplay his injuries after the accident. All of the ***elry, hanging with rappers, drinking, blowing up between fights...it's time the boxing world called him out for who he really is.

Folks hyped him up as the next big thing in boxing but all he wants to do is live and hang around rappers, barely train, and allow his fans to make excuses for him. He's a great fighter but the problem is, he knows this (hence the barely training and blowing up between fights). The guy just doesn't care.

Is Ugas a good replacement? Yes! Is it worth paying for at this moment? Nope. Put that **** on free tv (Showtime or Fox) and find a way to pay the fighters....it's not our problem...the boxing world owes us for such a blow to the gut. 3 fights fell apart in a matter of 3 weeks. Sick and sad.

UPDATE: Man, I sounded like a judgmental lil beyotch. I wanted to delete the post but I’ll just hold the L instead. Speedy recovery to Spence.

Sucks for fans, works in pacmans favor to be boxing a lesser dangerous opponent then fighting Spence who is the biggest and most dangerous w.w champ out there, can see now how much pacman has left after the long layoff, the rounds will do him good.

Terrible News! Pacman vs Ugas is a very decent backup plan though, it clears up that WBA Situation which is one positive I guess. Also Ugas steps in and gets his Big Payday!

All the best to Spence, he is very lucky it is a tear and not detached so he should be good in a few weeks

Boxing Feels so Cursed this year! No Pacman vs Spence, no Canelo in September...WTF!

And he needs to give up his titles as well. We had to wait through the car accident/recovery, COVID and other crap....don't make us again. The show must go on.

                      Agree. Spence dodged a bullet.

Pac was about to end his career and plummet his stock. Spence probably trained so hard in fear of PAC that he injured himself and ultimately ended his career anyway.

Pac keeps ending careers and retiring these young bucks!
