Rahman adopted “The Mummy” defence for a bit with both hands held out long. I remember you could pick that as your style in a fight night game back in the day. I asked my brother to name some “messy” fighters he just texted me “Irish John Duddy”.
Good pick lol ... He fought like a wildman

      Tough old sod.

I really miss Skelton, McDermott, Sprott, Audley, Williams, Rogan knocking lumps out of each other on an almost weekly basis free on ITV. HW prizefighter and the likes, the good old days.

Rogie the old Belfast taxi driver I don't think he even turned pro until 30 odd and he didn't do too badly considering. Just your stereotypical Belfast taxi driver I guess, ard as ****!
Yes the domestic scene was competitive then. There was a clear gap between them and world level but at least they all fought each other .

I had forgotten about Rogan, he did great when you consider his background and when he turned over.

Sam Soliman is the correct answer.

Of all the names listed so far they look like boxing technicians compared to Soliman. And he even held a title at some point.
