the only welterweight champion that was ok with fighting prime kell was jessie vargas, but the negotiations fell apart for that, and vargas decided to fight pacquiao instead.

but to be fair to thurman and garcia, kell himself didn't really push strongly for those fights to be made.
Every time Kell had some good fighter lined up he was always got hurt or stabbed, followed by a layoff, followed by fighting a third tier fighter. Lets not rewrite history, nobody avoided Tell by Khan and he represents the easy UK money.

noone has to re-write anything, i remember the 2015-16 welterweight time frame pretty well, even if you don't.

there were plenty of interviews also done that back this up.

danny garcia was not interested in fighting a serious threat at welterweight until the thurman fight, he damn sure wasn't intrerested in a kell brook fight.

kell did express interest in fighting both thurman and garcia, and according to johnny nelson, thurman told him personally he felt brook was the best welterweight in the world atm or something along those lines.

but again, to be fair to thurman and garcia, brook himself didn't strongly push for those fights, just expressed interest.

Khan can stanky leg better than Brook and Brook has bone issues. This one has history, too much history, ancient history. I'll watch, but geezer wars is a niche segment of the sport.

He’s doing more than hope, he prays every night Khan grants him that payday.

Even if this one is probably over half a decade too late, would still like to see it just in the fact that grudge matches are always fun. These two been knocking each other for so long that I just wanna see them fight and see who eats crow.

Noone. Brook has never been an avoided fighter.

If you say so. There were never talks of Kell fighting anyone.

Think about it, nimrod. Khan blatantly and clearly quit in the ring on his feet, to legal punches. Then he took away from Bud's victory by claiming an illegal thigh shot. 1st of all, I can't recall any other fighter quitting because they were hit on the thigh. 2nd of all, the replay clearly shows a legal punch. To lie like that shows poor sportsmanship and poor character. Then he goes to the man he falsely claimed fouled him, asking for boxing lessons. That's detestable because sportsmamship is everything in boxing. U have to wear ur asswhipping gracefully like a real man, because after all, it is a sport and may the best man win. (think Deontay Wilder vs. Fury II, post-fight) But it highlights the fact that false claim of an illegal punch or not, he knows who the superior boxer is, because he went to him begging to learn. So yea he's a simp, so I see why his wife was out looking for action
