This is quiet an easy fight to call, if and only if Vergil can stand up to buds power. If that happens, Vergil will stop bud, if not then Terrence by UD

Not sure how anyone can hate on Ortiz.

He's respectful, his resume is solid for where he's at and his entertaining and ruthless.

So many oddball weirdo boxing fans out there

Consequently resulting in Mayweather Not receiving the credit he rightfully deserved. Same thing gunna happen if Bud fights Virgil. After Bud schools him (and make no mistake he will take him to school) it will be the same old excuses "Ortiz was too young, Ortiz wasn't ready, Ortiz had the wrong strategy, Ortiz wasn't adequately prepared, etc." Now, feel free to refer to this preview after TC dominates Virgil Ortiz
Tell me then how Canelo has gotten far better than he ever was after he faced May how it wasn’t because he was too young and just not quite ready? With each fight he showed he wasn’t yet ready because in every fight since he’s developed into an exceptional fighter.

Big difference between May and Bud. May had bad hands, he could make a guy miss and land, but without really hurting him. Bud will draw it out and apply the coup de gras. KO 11 or 12 unless he gets mad. Kava is a good test, but Ortiz has to look good. Getting lumped up to finally land a bomb, is not looking good.

But Crawford was directly asked it, right after Ortiz / Hooker, on camera. He told Vergil to fight Kavaliauskas (a duck) instead.

Ortiz is the one who called Crawford out directly after the fight.

So it was discussed, but Crawford shot down any attempt at negotiating, just he did with Kenny Porter.

Of course Vergil wants to mix-it-up with Bud after the Hooker fight, that's a young, up and coming fighter's dream. However, there are a couple of reason why it would have been unwise for TC to accept Vergil's challenge at that time- #1 Ortiz ain't ready and if it were possible for them to fight next month the whole world would witness that he's not ready. And #2 there were two, three possibly four fighters who were in line for an opportunity and were more deserving of a shot at Bud than Ortiz at this time. But, rest assured they will Get It On and it will be completely one sided in favor of TC

WHY?? Two young and undefeated WW contenders on the brink of stardom not to mention, being avoided by big names.
It’s no secret at least in the knowledgeable boxing world that Ennis has the tools to beat Crawford or any of the big names. Ortiz is building a reputable name for himself, why not establish and solidify themselves against The Who’s who of WW before fighting each other?
Well.....I just one to end the other right now, kinda like dubois vs.....cant remember his name

Spence told Crawford he won’t fight him at all.

                  isn’t that a duck?

Canelo after losing to Floyd went on to struggle vs Lara & GGG and then Trout and Cotto gave him great fights. Most argue that he got gift wins vs GGG and Lara.
Those are four fights after losing to Floyd and a couple of years after so was he still green and inexperienced then?

I’d rather they fight in 2023 after facing the current big names.
Ennis will beat Crawford, Thurman, Porter and Manny. Not sure about Spence though
Those would be defining fights for him
