I have been watching boxing for almost 50 years and that decision on the Fox vs Maestre was one of the worst I have ever seen. Maybe the worst. The fix was in from the start. WBA and a home grown Venezuelan fighter. Recipe for a robbery and everyone knows it.

His previous fight ended the same way, accidental headbutt followed by an exaggerated reaction. I don't think that's a coincidence.

Yup, I was there at that fight. He had a few decent early rounds but as the going got a bit rough with some mauling and clean shots he began suffering alot of injuries (arm, clash of heads, etc). Collazo was as tough as they come but at his age and with his mileage, I understand he doesn't have the heart for that anymore. Time to retire.
