Caleb Plant turned down a fight offer that would have seen him get his ask (10 million) to fight on Dazn. That deal was denied by Caleb Plant. (its the reason Canelo was forced to try and negotiate a deal with PBC that ultimately failed and saw Caleb Plant miss out on this fight)

• Since Al Haymon is the Owner of "PBC" boxing brand with network deals and sponsorships and other legal binding contracts and is also Caleb Plant advisor/manager Al Haymon advised Caleb Plant to refuse the Dazn deal to leverage Canelo to come to Al Haymon owned "PBC" boxing Brand so it can benefit Al Haymon and his residual business dealings on the PBC back-end. Al Haymon advised Caleb Plant in Al Haymon's own Interest rather than in Caleb Plant's interest?

I don't like the PBC, some morons claim its cuz I'm a racist even though they don't know what colour I am, they just presume I am white but the reality is things like this happening all too often.

Everybody can be guilty of it time to time Top Tank are certainly guilty of it and I can't stand Bob Arum either but the PBC are at it all the time and considering they have such a good stable of fighters it's very frustrating seeing so many good fights go down the drain.

Especially when alot of these PBC guys like so shout loud and proud that they are network free agents and their own bosses

Centeno Jr. had been taken off PBC temporarily when he started voicing his concern about activity and wanting to go elsewhere, he miraculously returned. I think Al Haymon was worried that other Hispanic boxers could follow his lead. The first noticeable boxer who was saw lack of activity and disgust was Martirosyan and he was blacklisted by both Haymon and King.

I remember Gongora used to be PBC. Was let go and went with Matchroom. Gongora is really good. I’d favor him to beat Berlanga and have a close fight with Morrell Jr. Point is Gongora is on DAZN and looks to be landing a Canelo fight in the future and will make more than Plant.

It seem like Caleb gets a pass because he lost his whole family in recent years. It’s the PBC fanboys that excuse his behavior to honor Haymon and they cry racism on this site. Plant only has his dad left. If I were him I would’ve fought Canelo and just enjoyed life with dad and the misses. If Plant loses in the future, why would Canelo consider it tbh?

to the OP’s point. I think many fighters fear Haymon with job security. Such insecurity exists in every market. Lol. I’m glad Thurman is one of the most open guys on PBC discussing politics. Benavidez isn’t that far off either. To me, David seems the type to implode if more unlucky shet happens to him at PBC.

In all fairness I think Plant shouldve done whatever the hell it took for the fight to go on. I will say EVERY network and promotion company is out for themselves. None of them truly care about their stable of fighters on a personal level or what we as fans think. They care about their bank rolls first.

True, I actually created this thread because of the arguments I seen people making that Canelo should have no issue going to PBC cause he is a free agent well so is Caleb Plant.

Caleb Plant was the B-side, Caleb Plant is the one who might only have 1 chance at making this type of money, so I personally believe he should have done what is best for himself and secure this fight which imo means he should have gone over to Dazn and take the money instead of possibly losing out all in the name of the betterment of another mans organization, your family is your organization should be looking out for that first.

I completely agree I am a Caleb Plant fan we are virtually from the same hometown and it saddens me to see boxing politics and pissing contests getting in the way of this fight. There should be NO reason this fight isnt happening!

I'm saying its Plants, Haymons, Canelos, Reynosos, Hearns, and every single person involved in making this fight happens fault. It good and damn time for one side or the other to put their big boy pants on and say this is for undisputed at 168 and get it done. I'm not blaming one side or the other IM BLAMING EVERYBODY INVOLVED.
