Davis put in the cleaner work and won the bout clear, but didn't look great doing it. What stands out to me is Bachkov, with limited skills was able to land a few & basically walked thru everything that was thrown at him and kept pursuit.

I don't see him getting past Cuba for gold, but even more I expect some really boring defensive wins in his pro career.

I actually didn't think Davis would pull this one out, thought Bachov's pressure would be too much. But Davis fought a heck of a fight, stick & move at its finest. Still disappointed with the amount of roughhousing and wrestling going on here. It really lets you see why some guys just stick to the olympics and don't make it as a pro.
