  • Comments Thread For: Thurman Blames Media For Spence's Hostility Toward A Potential Fight: Why Is He Guzzling Down Hatorade?

Call it manufactured beef. Former welterweight titleholder Keith Thurman believes that WBC/IBF champion Errol Spence Jr. would be more willing to face him inside the ring if the media was not so insistent on bringing up the matchup in every interview.

Get over it Keith! The gig is up. You are no longer elite or relevant in the sport of boxing anymore because you are now a ruined fighter. Your only shot is against these young contenders or other shopworn fighters such as yourself. So just retire already and save yourself the little dignity that you have left. Coming across as a beggar and being thirsty is embarrassing for your legacy.

It’s funny when you are locked out how you will go so low for a payday. Thurman not just on his knees but has already given a blow job!

I think it was moreso him. At the time Thurman was becoming hella annoying and was moving the goalposts. ( We have video proof) Then changed the narrative, if he stayed consistent with his excuses it wouldn't have been so bad, but he made Spence lose respect for him

Regardless I want to see the fight, it's a great fight and would sell

This post exactly! Thurman needs to put himself in a position for Spence to wanna fight him. The way I see it is Thirman hasn't had a credible win in nearly 5 years so why would Spence go backwards in his career. Thurman would be consider a soft touch fight for Spence at this point IMO
