Despite Spence being favored, it still has an “unknown” vibe to it. And Spence being favored just feels like it’s protocol to have him favored. Like he is favored by default to Pacquiao’s age and inactivity. Not because of his ability.

Just like when it was always protocol for odds makers to make every Bernard Hopkins opponent the favorite due to his age and Hopkins fights, here and there, looking like he should retire. For example some thought Hopkins-Calzaghe could have been given to Hopkins but at the same time, Hopkins looked old. So the odds were against him in his next fight vs Pavlik, who was young, prime, and looking good in the eyes of many. Roach even refused to train Hopkins vs Pavlik and told him he will get hurt badly and to retire. Everyone was telling Hopkins to retire or he is going to get hurt. Then old ass Hopkins schooled Pavlik. I personally could not believe that almost the entire boxing community had Hopkins as the underdog and predicted Pavlik would win by KO. I was telling everyone who listens, Hopkins will school Pavlik. I remember being all over Youtube videos predicting Pavlik would win, just laughing at everyone because I knew in my head, that everyone was predicting the wrong outcome. Hopkins was going to beat Pavlik’s ass and I knew it despite his age. Pavlik was no Calzaghe, Pavlik was no light heavyweight. Boxing fans always tend to disregard weight. Then blame weight after the fact after vehemently denying weight got sht to do with a fight’s outcome.

Admittedly, I will say here, this fight is unknown to me, as far as the outcome. But I lean towards Pacquiao. The reason for this is because I noticed Spence likes to sit back and chill, does not appear to have killer instinct at the top level. His pressure at the top level is also non existent. I also don’t like his defense at the top level. You can not have poor defense at all vs Pacquiao, and you can not take breaks vs him, or have defensive lapses. Pacquiao has a real shot at winning here. I can actually see how Pacquiao has the edge here, despite his age. If he has been busting his butt in the gym, removing all that rust from 24 months of not being in a pro fight. If Spence wins, it will not be easy at all. I think Spence is in for a fight here. He will need to earn a hard fought decision here. And I have a very strong feeling the fight will be close either way. We are going to have to see the warrior version of Spence like we saw vs Porter.
Don't forget Hopkins beating Winky Wright at age 42!

I recall Jeff Horn getting the best of #48 toe to toe. I also recall #48 getting KTFO a few times from going toe to toe. If anyone is at a disadvantage going toes, it's #48.

While Spence and Pacquiao go head-to-head, what's former WBA WW Champ Keith "Once Upon a Time" Thurman been up to?

Keith Thurman Vs. Gervonta Davis – Fight Possible Says Leonard Ellerbe

Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe is DEAD serious about wanting to make a fight between former welterweight champion Keith ‘One Time’ Thurman and Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis. Ellerbe says he’s making that fight in “two seconds,” and he wants Thurman (29-1, 22 KOs) to have his management give him a call so they can start the ball rolling.

Ellerbe is ready to pull the trigger on the Davis-Thurman fight, and he believes his fighter Tank will knock out the former WBA/WBC 147-lb champion ‘One Time’ Thurman.

That fight I’d make in two seconds, Tank would knock him the f*** out right now,” said Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe on Twitter about him making a fight between Gervonta Davis and Keith Thurman.

“Tank is not a 47 pounder, and Keith can fight his a** off; he’s a guy I got a lot of respect for. Trust me if he’s serious, which I highly doubt that’s an easy phone call,” said Ellerbe.

Thurman, 32, seems to be on board with it as well, saying that he thinks it’ll bring in 600,000 PPV buys with half coming from him and the other half Tank.

For the boxing fans that believe that Thurman is too big, too strong, and too much for the 5’5 1/2″ Tank Davis. But we just saw Thurman lose to the 5’6″ Manny Pacquiao in his last fight two years ago in July 2017...

Tank looked good in his last fight, moving up to 140 to knockout WBA ‘regular light welterweight champion Mario Barrios in the 11th round on June 26th in Atlanta. Speaking of Atlanta, Thurman says he’s interested in fighting Gervonta in that city, so there’s a possibility those two could meet there for a battle in October or November.

It would be a shock for some boxing fans to see Tank Davis take a fight with the bigger Thurman, but it’s one that Ellerbe and Mayweather Promotions want. There’s a lot of money to be made on PPV, and a victory for Davis will make him a bigger star which is where he wants to be.

Trust me! He is going to keep Pac on his back foot for the entire fight.

I was trying to figure out this post but then I realized you are a troll. Hey troll, when have you seen Spence on a bicycle? He got clipped several times against Brook and kept coming forward. If you're rooting for Manny to win then that's fine but don't make stuff up.
