That loss to Joyce really set him back 3 to 4 years

How so ? He’s in the top rankings at number 1 in the WBA and will fight AJ very soon providing he doesn’t lose . Possibly a 2023 fight which doesn’t push him back everyone is in the same boat they are also going to be waiting for a Joshua fight ,if anything it’s fast tracked DDD he’s right behind Joyce in that chase .

I’m not even 100% sure he can beat Bryan. At least Bryan has beat Stiverne, Flores & Rossy. DD beat Dinu & Kingpin… This is an even matchup in my opinion… Both with lots to prove…

Flores and Rossy aren’t really good . How good is Stiverne , he hadn’t defeated anyone in 5 yrs and I think the beating Joyce put on him was the point of no return.

Id take a guy like Dinu over them anyway ,Lartey was relatively tough , Gorman is a fairly tough skilled all around fighter and staying with Joyce until the loss tells me he’ll flatten Bryan . I don’t think it’s close at all .DDD is only improving while King gets Bryan easy fights or keeps him inactive because his play is to get AJ if possible to secure the payday . By the time they fight if they fought I see DDD being far to big and on point for a Bryan .

He isn't ready for a top level fight, he needs more experience at an International level before fighting World class/elite fighters. I don't understand why you are so animated about this, you are complaining that Dubois is fighting at the correct level he should be fighting at? WTF

This was pretty clearly the path that Warren was targeting when they got the Dinu fight to be for the interim title. I'm sure Warren doesn't have a problem doing a deal with Don, they're both old, corrupt bastards Guess the only question now is if they will do it in the states? Don't know why else Dubois would be coming over to smash a club fighter

He never even fought any "domestic level fights." He smashed a few British club fighters, then fed on weak Euro and Asian bums with decent records before they threw him to the wolves against a real contender and sliver medalist and he got his face smashed in. Dubois' path has been horrible up to this point. Dinu was actually a solid return opponent and a nice little step up from the guys he has beaten, but Cusumano is a step back to the dudes he was blasting out before.
