I didn’t see Mayweather push Pacquiao back in the start of rd 10. But He did try in rd 7 where Pacquiao easily spun away from Mayweather and had him reaching and falling into the ropes before (off the back-foot) countering Mayweather’s right hand to the body with a straight left to Mayweather’s head, and later while Mayweather is still trying to be aggressive a counter left hand between a Mayweather combo that he easily evades and with that Mayweather stopped trying to push Pacquiao back in this rd as he was clearly getting outboxed doing so.

Pacquiao fans can't see Floyd walking Pacquiao down. They don't understand that Pacquiao can't really fight good moving backwards. All Floyd got to do is walk Pac in to the ropes, or turn Pac into the ropes, body beat him to death.

Not really. Floyd has a 5 inch reach advantage, and Pac can't fight as well going backwards.

I was thinking more of landing his right hand lead, smothering to avoid return fire and locking his arms up, wrestling, and working on the inside. Watch Morales smother him, work the body and push him back while avoiding counters.

Those two can be mental midgets, that doesn't mean they didn't come in with the intention to prove a point. Ortiz took a beating but it was really that lead right hand that discouraged him in the 4th round, Mayweather landed it as he was chasing Ortiz. Judah fought a damn good fight but at the same time he got the fight beaten out of him, that was one of Mayweather's best body punching displays. At the moment I don't see that happening until Floyd is down on the cards and him and his corner sense the urgency to win rounds - this will happen in second half of fight

I guess the reasoning would be that he may look to slow PAC down with body shots. I remember Bradley landing body shots in their fights . And Tmt did an interview saying he's looking for body shots.

he's gonna have trouble no matter what he does with pacquiao, these guys think he'll slowly come forward and keep the distance by taking small steps back when pacquiao chooses to charge, but floyd can't keep that up, he's naturally stylistically a fairly flat-footed fighter(esspecially now), and when he's on the offensive, he rarely even takes one step back, and when in that mode he will get boxed to bits

his best bet is keeping the fight as quiet as possible and taking rounds with single digit landed punches, while majority of the time walking away from pacquiao, fighting an all-round negative fight

available evidence suggests 1 handed manny outboxed an IV-injected floyd.

manny will hopefully have both his arms for this fight, and unless spence has the clout to pay off judges, manny will not be losing every round by default like he did against floyd. Also, i dont imagine spence would have the clout to benefit from a TUE if he were found to be using peds/IV.
