If Pac was 10 years younger. Its an easy fight. This fight is more about AGE. That said, long arms and a jab never really bothered Pac back in the day. What does bother him are GREAT INSIDE FIGHTERS.
Spence is not that but he is young and strong. A very tuff fight for Pac but I think you will see Spence have the same look on his face Thurman had. “BEWILDERED”.
I think Thurman has a harder style for Pac. I think Spence is more of a grinding stone” than Thurman. Hes not going to tire.

      manny is best coming forward

however cutting rings off and inside fighting aren’t areas he’s very good at

going back with a high guard to tank body shots isn’t fighting backing up

back in the day Morales long arms and jab bothered manny plenty

so did Floyd’s jab and long arms

guys who are successful inside vs manny go through hell just to get there. Like Horn

young manny beats up dudes who need an inside fight and come towards him

Errol can be caught when throwing his left

manny training to counter Errol left with his own left

manny training uppercuts to catch Errol’s built in defensive responsibility of weaving under after punching

          may the best man win.

I don’t think manny can tame Errol’s jab. Will need watch more tape

Going back with the high guard is him taking a breather. What did he do to Hatton/Rios/Margarito? I don’t know why Floyd stans insist on this when Mayweather himself admitted Pacquiao is at his strongest on the backfoot, though I dig how a clip of Floyd stepping on Pacquiao’s foot concluded Pacquiao is “off-balance” while on the backfoot.

And Thurman didn’t have any success walking Pacquiao down except for miniscule moments like in the 10th when Pacquiao was taking a breather after beating Thurman’s ass. Thurman’s entire reason for losing that fight was that he tried to walk Pacquiao down. The success you’re talking about was only when he started spinning the sht out of an already tired Pacquiao. Pay attention.

Floyd easy worked manny because manny came forward but cant cut the ring off

Floyd said what he said because those 2-3 good shots manny got in was when Floyd came forward

but for most the fight it was manny unable to cut Floyd off and getting a boxing lesson

                  Probably bitter sweet

bogo is a silent manny fan

but it says a lot about the current level of talent if the best of this gen can’t beat a 42 year old with stamina issues

At the start of round 10

Floyd backed manny up and landed 3 strikes. manny stood there and had no answer

manny at his best in reverse gear. Nah

Floyd said it before the fight fool. While all the floydboys were predicting Floyd was going to back Pacquiao up and expose him on the inside. Mayweather said Pacquiao is at his most dangerous when you are pushing him back. Why? Because he can fall on his backfoot to make you miss and quickly bounce back to put your ass to sleep. Ask Ricky Hatton.

If what he did to Rios/Margarito/Hoya with the headfakes, fients, stutter stepping back to maintain distance before shooting a counter left and spinning out from the ropes isn’t backfoot fighting, then backfoot fighting doesn’t exist.
