The only chance, IMO, for Pac to win is to try and blitz Spence for as long as he can and hope for a KO, which I doubt happens. I see this as more of a torch passing ceremony than anything else

Ok Manny is 42yo but ESJ is 31yo. Manny is a freak of nature and he tend to break common rules in physic. Pacman is so old that many are focusing solely on that to give the younger fresher fighter the advantage. But what is all of the suden ESJ get old over night???? his isn't 25 anymore, he's 31th and in boxing low 30s can represent the start of the decline for most fighters.

Looking at all the variables I keep this fight 50/50 with the fighter who better adapt to his opponent style and conditioning resulting in the deciding factor.

ESJ is always in good condition to go 12 round however, I expect Manny to show better conditioning than for his recent fights.

Roach is right in that Pacquiao must start quickly, but he is wrong in that Spence tires late. Pacquiao's only chance of winning is on points. Spence actually starts off slow, and gradually warms up. Therefore, it's important for Pacquiao to win early rounds. Spence's style is actually a relentless one - he gets stronger as a fight goes on.....and he tends to walk through power punches late in fights. I've never seen him get hurt, but Porter showed that Spence can be bothered by pressure and activity. Pacquiao is good for that. If Pacquiao is still Pacquiao, this should be a very interesting and entertaining fight....because Spence will be Spence.

P.S. Spence tires as much as any other champion with heart and stamina - which means he can go 12 with no problem.

Pacquiao the one who needs to worry about their stamina.
The team knows, and Pacman said he will come in lighter and faster. 2 years rest also done him good.

i rate his fight against Thurman as average, everyone saw him get tired

true, but Mikey wasn't moving or punching much. I go for Pacman, unless he tires out, being 43.

Spence Jr has never seen a fighter like this. He’s too flatfooted. If Pacquiao avoids a big counter shot, he wins at least 8 rounds.

You know what, let me not forget Floyd Mayweather, Joe Calzaghe and I’m sure other elite fighters when it comes to this endurance thing, Guys like these have had some incredible moments of endurance that were absolutely amazing!!…How did they keep going when you thought they’d slow down?!?!

But I can’t exclude guys like Spence & Manny either - who seem to be very competent in that area - above average combatants that better not underestimate each other….Roach better not give Manny false assurance in that area.

Spence went through a crazy monster car crash that Manny shouldn’t be able to compare to. I think, endurance issues for Spence can only be a problem if Spence takes this fight waaaay too seriously.

Pac's power has been reduced to maybe scoring some flash knockdowns.
He has to find a way of starting fast, while not getting tagged and gassed at the same time.

Man Roach just be talking to create a headline, when there is a journalist nearby. He is correct in his assessment that Manny needs to start early as he is past his prime and doesn’t look to still have the power necessary to stop Spence, thus needing to build a lead for a hopeful points win. But, then Roach contradicts himself saying this is due to Spence slowing down late. First of all, that makes little sense. Because if the opposing fighter is known to tire late wouldn’t that be ample opportunity to bag enough rounds to at the minimum to garner favor with the judges to have the scoring close? And, also in the last 8 Errol Spence fights I can count maybe(?) 4 rounds that he lost in the final third of a bout. I’m my opinion Spence is a slow starter that tends to fight downhill and typically begins to stalk and walk his opponents down late in fights. Granted, we have never seen him in the ring with an opponent with as high of a Boxing I.Q. as Pacquiao. I honestly don’t foresee this fight making it that far anyway. Personally, I feel that ESJ is so much more physically stronger than Pacman that midway through the scrap (rounds 7-9) Roach and BuBoy will be looking to save the Senator from further punishment and will stop the fight. We’ll see though. Can’t wait for this fight to get here, as it is my most anticipated fight left in this calendar year.

Yet, suddenly the next few rounds he seemed to back off him. I don't know if Spence gassed so much as Derrick James told Spence to conserve his energy for the last two rounds because they knew Danny Garcia would try and end the fight strong. I remember watching the fight live and at time Derrick James was getting mad at Spence for, don't fact check me , getting too aggressive and giving Garcia more openings. So maybe after the 8th Derrick James busted his @ss in the corner and told him to back off the gas. I don't think Spence gassed, it didn't seem like he was breathing heavy, plus any fighter is going to slow down by the end of the fight.
He did fine considering what he came through, he has been getting ready for this fight since his accident, Im sure Errol is going to come hard.
