I'm not discrediting Kessler, but it's obvious he was being protected. 40 sum fights and rarely ever faught outside of his country. Very few notable opponents, although he's definitely got a great skillset and was finally tested against opponents like Andrade and Calzaghe, it just took him awhile to actually get out of there. But your delusional if you think he's been fighting top level competion consistantly. Face it, the US is where every big name fighter comes to fight, it's the big bucks here, so don't try to make that arguements of Hopkins not leaving the US, because that just ridiculous, although I know what you were getting at. And yea, obviously its who you fight, but who all was it that Mikkel Kessler faught in Denmark? The type of guys you'd have to check Boxrec for. Like I said, I'm not discrediting Kessler at all, but it's obvious he's was being protected by his managment.
