Do you blame the fighters testing positive for covid?

Quite a few have caught it in the last month. Are they to blame? Should they be double vaccinated by now and making sure to avoid any unneeded contact with other people? Or is it not their fault, and just a realistic outcome that this will keep happening because fighters have family members, they have sparring partners, they have coaches and other members of their team and they can't live alone in a bubble, can't force their sparring partners etc. to never go to the shops or out in public.

If a boxer catches it they did something wrong, even if they are vaccinated I blame them

Their livelyhood depends on them keeping the scheduled fighting date. Not only they got to protect themselves for injuries in training camp but have to stay healthy until fight night. Not to say that everything can be avoided but some measures should be in place.

Boxing is meant to be a hard sport. No excuse is good enough. Doesn't mean I can't tell when I'm being unjust, normally I wouldn't blame a man for getting sick, but in boxing I do. There's never a good excuse. When Wilder made his video about Tyson cheating my response wasn't Wilder's wrong or Wilder's right but rather it doesn't matter because even if you get cheated you need to still find a way to win; It's boxing.

It came from Sparta and as much as modern folks love to forget that I don't. I appreciate the mean and dirty culture still thriving in Apollo's sport. From the mean as **** Spartan soldiers to the bloodthirsty Romans to the gang wars of Venice to the ******** dens in London and likewise criminal infested clubs of New York and Boston, banned by the Christians for being Satanic and brought back to life by rich secular nobles pushing back against rampant Christianization; boxing is a bad, mean, dirty, unforgiving whore of a sport and I love it for it.

I don't give a **** what the reason is, you pull out of a fight you're a little ***** compared to your contemporaries.

1520s Tota, who had more heart than a dragon spitting, said to his foe Giagia "Lick my ass while I'm ****ting" Damn sure ain't Jesus's sport. No ****ing compassion here.
