Because Loma wanted it, Davis should jump?
Lomachenko Wants Gervonta Davis, Willing To Fight For Free
LOS ANGELES — Vasiliy Lomachenko is in no rush to move up to 140 pounds, but that doesn’t mean the unified lightweight champion won’t make a weight-class switch in the near future. Lomachenko revealed Tuesday that he’s considering a return to junior lightweight and has an opponent in mind.
We all know Tank didn't want that smoke.
Little Leo Santa Cruz, though? Gervonta got really brave for that one.

I'm not a long standing Tank fan.
Before all the politics you mention Tank could have fought Lomachenko and tried to go for the glory that Teofimo ended up getting instead.
But he didn't have the stones to do it.
If a guy wants to be safety first that is his choice. But his fans shouldn't have the gall to criticize someone with the resume of Canelo.
I used to think he wasn't all that. But he did two things that I didn't think he would do, so I've come around to the guy.
As for the Lomachenko thing. I suppose. Like I said, not a long standing fan. So I don't know the details of that.
I'd just say let's see what he does "now". There isn't a build job anymore. Careful match making, padding the record a little bit. That's gone now. He's in the limelight now with championship gold on him. So, I feel like, now is the time to really judge him for avoiding or not, at this point. He really has no excuse to not fight the elites.Comment

I like him as a fighter. But he is being carefully matched.
