If he beats Regis he's beat the best 140 pounder after Josh so then he'd deserve it. But fight never happening anyways.

What makes prograis 2nd best 140lber? Ramirez is better than prograis. Point is i prefer mickey fight prograis instead of getting and undeserved title shot at taylor. Politics or not im glad hes not considered for taylor

Sure, Spence beat Garcia easily, but Taylor isn't on the Spence level. Nash would pick Mikey to win this on points. Nash out.
Furys not up there with the Taylor's,Canelo's and Crawford's. Josh vs Mikey is a great fight. Close, but Josh is still so underrated. And let's remember he beat Postol in just his 13th fight. And he did beat him unlike Ramirez who was given a win.

I love the Mikey vs Regis fight. I love Josh vs Mikey. I'm not bothered about Josh vs Regis again. However if Regis were to beat Mikey then Josh vs Regis 2 starts to appeal to me.

It's a matter of opinion but as a Josh Taylor fan who has watched him beat both ,Regis is better in my eyes. In fact I believe Postol is better than Ramirez. I would like to see Mikey fight Regis and if he can win then getting a shot at a fight with Josh would be great for me. I have no interest in Josh rematching Regis as of right now. However if he beats Mikey that starts to appeal to me more.

Andre Berto had no business in the ring vs Mayweather, the payday could have gone to a more deserving fighter.

Amir Khan had done nothing to deserve a Canelo payday.

Devin Haney was quite literally gifted a title, based on beating zero amounts of top Lightweights.

I wish all title fights consisted of only the most deserving, the current top fighters. But that is not always the case. That is seldom the case.

The baseball equivalent of boxing politics would be, imagine that despite which teams have the best record in baseball, win playoffs games, beat the best of the best, are obviously superior, etc, but MLB Commissioner Bud Selig chooses The LA Dodgers vs NY Yankees for the World Series, even if they ****** all year and did not earn it. Because they are two of the most popular teams in MLB history and nobody cares to see the Kansas City Royals vs San Francisco Giants. Ratings and revenue would be much better if the World Series was Yankees vs Dodgers, so that’s who goes even if they had a losing record and had terrible performances all season.

                That’s boxing.
Excellent assessment of the state of the game

Fury is the greatest fighter to ever lace them up. There is no boxer in history, that is harder to beat than prime Fury, I'm not talking about young, raw, Fury. Anyone who can't see that he is elite, should move over to another sport. Nash out - Boxing Scene Hall of Fame - First ballot.

De La Hoya said the same thing to Mayweather when Mayweather was in Top Rank. I can’t fight you because you are with Top Rank.

Shane Mosley also turned down Mayweather twice. Reality was, it wasn’t due to toothaches or vacations, as funny as those excuses were. It was because Mosley couldn’t do business with Top Rank.

Mayweather and Haymon had nothing to do with why boxers outside of Top Rank can’t do business with Top Rank. Mayweather’s lawsuit with TR was all about that reason. Top Rank could not offer Floyd the big fights he wanted.
So you have to be a certain age to become a boxing fan?
14 years is plenty of time to become a legit boxing fan and out of casual status

Fury is awkward because of his size thats all. Go watch his fight against Steve Cunningham. Fury only beat him because he was about 4 stone heavier than him. After getting outboxed for the first 3 or so rounds including dropped along the way, Fury started to hold and lean on him to Sapp the energy from him and got the stoppage because Cunningham was more tired than hurt. That was a cunningham who was past it. And for such an elite fighter he's seen his fair share of the Canvas. Greatest fighter to ever lace them up ? Lol. Ok pal keep up the hero worship and stay safe lol.
