I enjoyed the fight.good hard fought battle by both but I had it closer than the judges.regardless of the outcome both fought hard for 12 rounds.like to see both again.

Awesome Fight... I saw it LIVE and lemme tell ya, Sonsona is the real deal; for real... He's only 19, but has a huge presence in the ring, he's fast, he can ****, and no one has really mentioned this, but the kid has a cast iron chin too!
From ringside I can see how the scores played out the way they did, I mean a lot of the shots Lopez landed went unnoticed as Sonsona barely flinched most of the time... After watching the replay on TV, it was clear Lopez was landing slightly more than even I initially thought, but none the less, Sonsona really did a number on the veteran and earned that WBO strap around his waist in impressive fashion... No Doubt!
Good win for the kid who had Nonito Donaire's father in his corner, alongside one hell of a great team overall I should definitely add... The Filipino contingency present at the LIVE Fight was also very impressive, and everyone in attendance truly got their money's worth out of that fight! I honestly hope we get to see more of the young Boy Wonder "Marvelous" Marvin Sonsona in Canada, in the near future!!! The kid still can improve immensely, don't get me wrong here, but at 19 he's also a legitimate Champion of the World now too! No Doubt!Comment
