Canelo came up with additional demands (rematch and "Injury/illness etc clause") after it became apparent the fight can only happen on FOX, with PBC being in charge of organizing the event.
If the fight was on DAZN, with matchroom in charge, there would be no rematch demand or "illness clause".

btw, DAZN offered 40M to Canelo and 10M to Plant.
PBC countered, after seeing DAZN offer, with 40M+/10M+.

I have no issue with canelo asking for the clause. I also don’t think Plant can seriously think he should get $10 mil for a ppv fight if canelo isn’t the opponent.

It’s like posters think fighters aren’t going to use LW rage if they have it.

Common sense says Canelo makes more money fighting on a PPV platform especially with a 40 million guarantee and lions share of sales. I'm gonna take a guess the fight still happens. The hold up is probably more like a hold out to squeeze the last little bit out of each other.
