Not just unpolished, but a dirty fighter at that.

I get that he lacks skill but he’s willing to test his lack of skill against more skilled guys which seems admirable as a boxing fan.

Its crazy fans are mad boxers lack charisma and then hate a guy that actually has some and shows it even though he isn’t skilled.

          Just perplexing to me.

This sport lacks multiple guys who can resonate with casual fans. Here comes a guy that isn’t vanilla and boxing fans want him to keep quiet. Then in the next breath a lot of us complain about the lack of exposure the sport gets and the fact MMA has a ton of guys fans pay to watch.

All I keep reading is what Rolly doesn’t have. Yes you all are correct. But why aren’t any of you talking about what he does have?

Charisma, presence, personality. Since when are these things negatives for a boxer? As to his lack of skill, he can learn these things with the right trainer.

You can teach Rolly what he lacks. You can’t teach fighters what he has. He is either gonna hit home runs or strike out bad - fans tend to gravitate toward that.

He’s definitely gonna get stretched one time, probably in spectacular fashion, but at least he will try to entertain.

As a long time fan, too many pros don’t get that entertainment is valuable and can be achieved multiple ways . Rant over.

Rolly is crude, needs a lot of work on his skills, and is as poor fundamentally as any young fighter I’ve seen.

but dude talks a ton of sh-t, has dynamite in his punch, and isn’t scared of anyone and doesn’t seem to give a f-ck. He’s like a breath of fresh air in the sport IMO.

Yeah, he got a gift in the fight before Yigit, but he ko’d Yigit who came in with more experience and 5 lbs over the limit.

I think it will be a fun ride watching him.

we all know what Rolly’s fate will be in the future but the kid can make some $$$ fighting the best with his shenanigans.

I will laugh if Rolly KO’s Haney just like Mayorga did Vernon Forrest and we can put the myth of Haney as a elite boxer to sleep

But Yigit was call on a breeze and had like 2 hours to train for the fight.

Yea he may have some flaws and a highlight ko reel waiting to happen, but Romero goes balls out and has the charisma of Hannibal Lecter. Idk if he'll ever become elite, but I wouldn't be surprised if he pulled off an upset or 2.
