Molitor Honors Arturo Gatti, Stops Azuaga

Former champion and Canadian icon Arturo Gatti was honored at Casino Rama in Ontario, Canada. There was a ten bell salute and former super bantamweight champion Molitor came down to the ring to the tune of "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC to honor Gatti. [details]

This shows how far Molitor has fallen. Unlike his previous fights, I don’t think TSN (the Canadian sports channel) showed this live.

it was on tsn & it's good to see chris Johnson back in his corner.he was never the same in those last 3 fights with that French guy.he was very aggressive vs an overmatched opponent but it was a stay busy fight & he got some work in.nice body work & combinations.he's either fighting a final eliminator vs takalani(he beat him via 9th round ko)or kiko Martinez.they fight in ibf eliminator sept 25.if caballero moves up after fighting juanma then molitor will be fighting for the vacant ibf crown.I'd like to see a rematch with caballero with Johnson in his corner.

        molitor overrated

chris johnson, steve molitor, a winning combination when fighting bums. forget about the cabrellaro fight. molitor doesnt have a chance when fighting any real fighters. casino rama with 3000 tickets given for free to bingo players. its embarassing. i know he has to work with way back up , but for the ibf title. does anyone care . no cabrellaro, no competition. i guess the guy needs some money. but dont bet on him if he ever fights someone of caliber. glass chin, cuts easy, lacks power, and boring except when he gets wooped in 4 rounds. find a new job. im not paying to see these lack luster fights.
