    Prime vs Prime, would be a similar fight, but iwth Jones winning 4 rounds or so.

    Stymes makes fights, and Calzaghe is all wrong for Jones at any time!!!!!!
    As was the case in so many other threads I've seen you post in, that was just a plain ridiculous post.

    SO................... guys like Robin Reid and David Starie can win more rounds than that against the version of Joe you are refering to but a PRIME Roy Jones only manages 4 against him? Don't be so short sighted.

          Jones was not severly faded when he got KTFO against Tarver. He was in great shape with Mackie Shillstone training him and he still got Knocked the **** out hard. I'll give him the weight drained excuse for the first fight but that's it. It's not a pass for every fight since. Tarver would have knocked Jones the **** out at any time with that punch anyone who thinks otherwise is a nut hugger. And Tarver is older then Jones for the record.

            I guess I'm just a nutt-hugger because first off, Shilstone didn't do training/nutrition advisory for Roy after the Ruiz fight. Secondly, unless you are blind you would notice a huge difference in Roy from the Woods fight at LHW as opposed to all of his LHW fights since, including the Lacy fight. In the first Tarver fight, all the HBO crew could talk about was how different Roy looked in the ring. Appearance and stylistically. Roy , in his prime used his legs and combinations lethally and didn't rely on sitting on the ropes, conserving his legs and waiting for counter oppritunities. Don't say Tarver made him look bad either because he was beaten by Johnson who was beaten by the same Woods that got absolutely BLEW OUT by Roy Jones at his best.

                    Na Jones beats both. I think he would UD calz and KO Johnson. Bc Jones would not be laying on the ropes letting Johnson hit him. He was scared to get hit in that fight he wouldnt be in his prime. He makes Calz look silly. Roy was forever moving around the ring counter punching Calz. I just dont see what happend in November happening in Jones prime. Jones smelled blood back than. But I just think he clowns Calz bc of the speed he had and counter punching abilities. It wouldnt be a washout but it would be an easy UD.

                      Lets put it this way;

                      Calzaghe has the better chance of beating Jones Jr out of him and Johnson. Does he beat prime Jones though? 85% chance of that not happening.
