thats why you hear floyd say what he did in regards to tank and inhouse fights....because he knows who has the other power players around tanks class...and arum is a POS and impossible to deal with....floyd and haymon already know how it goes when trying to deal with that guy and they arent going to play his games......arum plays games....this is the same guy that set up a countdown clock on the TR website for floyd to accept an offer that NEVER EXISTED....this guy is all about public perception and these guys dont wanna deal with him.....hes a pest.....

porter doesnt have to respond...his resume is better than buds...hes been in better fights....if bud wanted the fight he could have negotiatied a real split without it having to get this far....thats why the WBO has changed the split because they know porter deserves more and without ordering it bud will never try to make it!
Arum has done business a certain way for 50 years. He isn’t going to change. What Bob is excellent at is using the media to create a narrative.

so he does the same thing Floyd does with “ in house “ fights, but Floyd gets the backlash because he openly tells people the plan to the media.

Its like when fans and the media get mad at athletes for giving fluff interview where they never say anything substantive, then criticize them and give them sh-t when they actually do say something real about a situation.

Why didn’t Al Haymon tell Porter to stay quiet before right now?

I don’t know why he needs to say anything?

You seem to equate saying something with wanting the fight. That is silly. Worse, you are only doing this so you can create the false narrative that someone is ducking Crawford as the reason he isn’t getting quality fights.

Sorry Shane, the reason is he chose to take the money. You need to grow up and accept the fact that boxers you like make decisions and choices you will not always agree with.

The fight wasn’t ordered before. Bob hadn’t signaled that he wouldn’t try to re-sign Crawford yet again. So the situation is much different.

Appears to me Bob’s media strategy began to turn against him. As the pbc guys fought each other, and Crawford fought lower level talent and blown up JWW’s, fans began to see things a bit differently.

Bob talked openly about the difficulty in promoting Crawford and signaling that he was going to let Crawford go after he fights the last time on the deal.

All this together means haymon can now put a plan in place to unify the ww division, which was what arum blocked when he overpaid Crawford to re-sign.

when Al has a plan in the works his guys usually keep the f-ck quiet.

Are you denying that Pacquiao signed to fight Crawford?

I can show you the report by Dan Rafael.

Why is the situation different now that the fight has been ordered?

Crawford released a statement. Do you think that will negatively impact him somehow?

what cracks me up is the OP just a week ago was posting videos of plant saying he wanted the canelo fight then making fun of plant for ducking it......now all of the sudden when crawford talks about a fight it means he def wants it....lol

agreed...he wont change and i wouldnt expect him to

but what happens when you get inolved with him publicly is he will lie and do anything to turn the narrative against you...hes proven that time and time again...which is why guys like floyd and haymon wont even try to deal with him unless they absolutely have no options or choices.....floyd knows better than to get involved in he said she said regarding tank with bob arum...hes already seen firsthand how that stuff plays out.....haymon doesnt even talk so we know he aint gonna say nothing

it just cracks me up how bob kept shouting porters name awhile back thinking he could get away with it and nobody would talk back till kenny porter said "yeah call us man we can make that"...then 2 weeks later bud was like "yeah porter not on my radar man"...lol...too funny....

I just explained why it’s different.

You didn’t answer why Porter needs to say anything.

No, I don’t think it negatively impacted him but had he not said anything I wouldn’t have cared. You seem fixated on saying something because you want to blame pbc for ducking because Crawford signed a deal designed to prevent him from fighting pbc ww’s.
