  • Comments Thread For: Joe Joyce Is One of Boxing's Most Interesting Men

By Corey Erdman - As he emerged through the curtain on Saturday wearing a bulbous Juggernaut helmet, it was apparent once again that Joe Joyce is a little different. The 35-year old heavyweight contender doesn't fit into any existing archetype of a boxer. Both as a person and as a fighter inside the ring, Joyce is a truly unique character.

Interesting article this one; packed full of information, some of which I knew, most I didn't.

It would be interesting to see Joyce fight someone in the top 15.

Is he the most cerebral active boxer?
Would like to see some of his paintings of Ali and others

Excellent article, one of the best I've read on here for a while.

I said in a comment, weeks ago, that I like JJ's intelligence and politeness. This article explains why. He's an interesting person and also does not seem concerned with rushing to get a title. Would be a much better champion than current ones, I imagine he would not keep the belts in hostage.

Ali, Bruce Lee and Beyonce... oooookay.

That being said, it's a small miracle the juggernaut pot on his head did not tire his legs during the ring-walk. I mean, really, the scourge of many a fighter in recent years.

Good article, makes me like the guy. Let's see what comes next.

I knew I liked this guy for a reason. Good read about an interesting fellow.

Would be hilarious to see Joyce rollerblading though...
