Just found the proof from before that many on here seem to have forgotten about that also shows Bud didn't want to fight Porter unless forced:

So this isn't a "Florida or Texas" type of fight but fans are now being allowed to attend fights in Vegas, so how does that even make any sense? And why couldn't the fight be placed in Texas? It could do a seven figure gate and you would put it on PPV as well.

Whatever, this was the fight I thought was going to happen but time for everyone to move on. Porter can possibly fight someone like Josesito Lopez in the summer time and hope he gets a bigger fight later in the year.

The only people who believe Crawford wanted this fight is Crawford and his die hards.

I also believe Porter was money grabbing though.

he didn’t want to do the mandatory because the challenger purse was less than if he negotiated outside of it. So he let that slip away because of money.

but at least the WBO did the right thing for once. Put Porter in there, force Crawford to come out from his promoter’s backside and fight someone with a pulse.

I think it obvious that crawford preferred a Manny fight to a Porter fight. I don’t think that is something he should be criticized for.

I can agree with you on that,but it's also very disingenuous of a lie for Bud to be acting like Porter is the one who had to be forced into this fight & that the top pbc wws have all been ducking him.

Well yeah that ducking stuff is BS media junk that Bob started the second he gave Crawford all that money.

But Crawford lost out because manny had already been through the Bradley BS decision trilogy scheme and wasn’t gonna let Bob do him like that again.
