Yes they will. I expect a Crawford/ugas fight while Spence fights an optional or the IBF mando, maybe Boots, assuming he beats Manny.

let’s hope this happens. Could be really beneficial for the sport.

in addition to hopefully getting the WW fight we all want, also creates possible fights at 154 that would be intriguing and exciting.

Losing Crawford might allow TR to use the money to make a huge offer for Haney which creates a real nice LW tourney for Bob.

This gives him control of the titles should Tank or the Diaz/ Ryan winner, who are the money guys, want to get a shot.

      One can dream.
Ahh so you’re finally learning the purse bid PBC experience innit! You don’t take Canelo to purse bid. Wouldn’t that have been the plan if the WBC had mandated Canelo vs Charlo? Why didn’t Derevyanchenko accept the GBP offer for Canelo? They wanted to go to purse bid. Canelo was stripped the IBF too. Sergey took the same money or less for GGG.

The moral of the story like this Crawford Porter story, you conveniently like purse bids now, but when you know PBC ain’t bigger than Canelo with purse bids, you called the ginger a “ducker” and said he asked the WBC to make him Franchise. Lol

Where did I post I liked purse bids? You’re clearly delusional.

It’s ridiculous that you compare Canelo to them as if their earning power is equal or the situations are exactly equal.

My comments are about this situation now as it’s unfolding and apply to this situation only, not anything else that happened previously or may happen in the future.

Rigo's pro career only started taking off when he was already 32. As long as Bud doesn't make any irrational decisions like moving up two weight classes, Bud could really dominate the welterweight division for like 10-15 more fights.

That made me think..he would probably beat Floyd's undefeated record at the current trajectory...ofcourse assuming he stays at welterweight till his retirement..although he would still beat the champions at 154, he would take more damage...especially at 160..

that would be outstanding if that happened for him, hes a pretty active fighter overall, 3 times a year often in the past, he will take more damage now i would say

Last i heard, hes fullfilled his part of the contract. If this fight goes to purse, and if TR doesnt win it, they still owe him 3 mill regardless.

If it is truly his last fight with Top Rank then yeah it would be smart to go all in, win the Bid and Keep Bud with PBC if that is what he wants

Honestly might as well work out a buyout with Arum because it is hard to break free from Arum

Notice how PBC fans rationalize this…

So Bud “signing” to PBC would not be a multideal, like the way other PBC fighters currently move.

Other PBC fighters would take notice if Haymon were to give Bud new preferential treatment.

Bud would have to acknowledge nothing but PPV fights on PBC here forward? How would other PBC fighters interpret that?

Meaning, how will Bud be satisfied with his new paygrade vs Top Rank?

A purse bud scenario for Crawford fighting Porter on PBC would simply mean that Bud can also look to Eddie Hearn and DAZN.

                      you heard it here first!
