(not sure if we're allowed to post stuff like this but I'd hope so)
Thanks again. I'll save the links and see how I can support. Maybe even write a letter or email.

Yeah, it's embarrassing, especially considering recent events. I wonder who their original backer was that was funding them. They were gracious enough not to publicly out whoever left them hanging. Thank you for your interest. I saw this on the news last night, donated what I could, then made this thread and a little post on Twitter I tried to get retweeted a bit. I'm not very good at stuff like this and it hasn't had much of an effect yet. Can only confirm 1 person here has even donated but that's okay. I didn't expect much interest and am surprised by how many replies I actually got so it's not all in vain.

Um okay? Thanks for the rude bump... What does it matter anyway? I think some of them look like they have potential but even if none of them go very far with boxing I still think this is important. Why would you troll this thread?

The aboriginal fighters are warriors! Look at how they never back down from getting mistreated. There are some greats from Winnipeg: heavyweight contender "Arthur Cooke" light heavyweight Canadian champion "junior moare" these guys were raised in gritty peg city, where most Rez habitants and city dwellers become a statistic due to their colour.

These people need uplifting and funding, to give them something positive to do. Even our aboriginal women, they tend to go missing from time to time. That is why they have "drag in the red" a non profit organization that looks for missing aboriginal women. Also we have the bear clan a bunch of aboriginal soldiers on foot handing out water and snacks to the needy. They are probably the most respected security guards in the mall. Once again they are all volunteers, picking up syringes and stuff.

This 700 team needs your support. I promise you the kids will work hard and save the fancy stuff for the pros! It is better than stuck up north where there's little to no sunlight only DREAMING of things on tv. Like what's a restaurant? What's it like to go in one?... Sadly the population of reserve born people will succomb to be another casualty to suicide before they even make it (into the city) for a better life. Canadians should be proud of this ordeal of releasing oppression thru hard work and boxing!

Please, give with a whole heart, not just a stingy one. Otherwise literally were just repeating the sins of our forefathers, think about it before you respond. Migwech,

Thank you so much for your reply Mike. I don't know whether to smile or cry right now. I've been pretty depressed lately but it feels good to help others. This ain't about my selfish narcissistic ass though.

Mightymaxboxing https://youtube.com/c/MINIMaxBOXING posted it on his Twitter for me and dropped a $20 donation so shoutout to that awesome little man. Visit his channel and subscribe! He's still young but has infinitely more boxing knowledge than the average scrub on this forum.

It saddens me that they've only gotten maybe $500 since it was shown on two local provincial new channels but I guess it's no surprise people don't care about boxing.

We shall keep plugging on though. Onward and upward.
