A little theory of mine and probably way off the mark lol. I think Crawford probably needs to go to Pbc. And if that is his plans, through his friend Shawn, Al Haymon probably knows this. So Porter declines for now and when Bud becomes a Pbc fighter he fights Porter in or around the same time frame as Spence vs Ugas after Pac fight ( although I'm not totally convinced that the main WBA belt won't become available for the Pac fight ). Then the two winners meet for undisputed. If Bud leaves top rank of course and I see nothing to be gained by staying there. Of course I could be crazy

He never should have renewed his contract with Top Rank in the first place. I can only assume that Crawford thought he was getting a Pacquiao fight but it left him with almost no other options.

I was annoyed at the time when he signed that deal and it still annoys me now haha!

Guys like you think Errol Spence is a fraud because he took a beating from Brian Castano and lost again and again to Sapiyev and Zamkovoy? By your standard Canelo losing to Floyd makes him a hype job too...

In perspective:
Not only did Crawford never lose but you conveniently forget to mention that that Terrance Crawford was once 135lbs fighting the best of the best. Gamboa at the time was a prime 32 blasting guys out at LIGHTWEIGHT! Crawford beat everyone at 135lbs, beat the best of the best at 140 and move up to 147, where he won his belt in his 1st fight only to have every top 5 welterweight tell us all why they couldn't fight him.

But some how that is supposed to make Terrance Crawford a fraud?

You really shouldn’t be concerned at all who a fighter is signed with. Your only concern as a fan should simply be the best fighting the best.

I don't know - Crawford isn't getting any younger and Porter's mauling style is difficult and Porter has the experience against top level comp. I don't see Porter being easy for anyone.

What makes spence a bigger puncher? Who has he ko'd that was elite? Brook was one eyed when he fought Spence too, btw
