Hard to know why Eubank Jr makes the career decisions he does. Possible he was never offered the fight as Charlo never seemed interested. But if Jr was offered the fight he probably would've turned it down and gone in a random direction like he has a habit of doing.

The marinating was there. The Eubank vs Korobov fight winner was to fight Jermall. Eubank had been calling out Charlo at the time too. But in the end the Charlos were commodities to the PBC, Eubank was new.
